Severe Sweating

If sweating is significantly interfering with your daily activities and topical agents have not helped, you may be a candidate for this.

Severe Sweating

What is Severe Sweating?
Severe sweating is a medical condition which involves overactive sweat glands. Sweat is your body’s temperature regulator. In severe cases, sweating significantly exceeds the body’s normal requirements for cooling.

How does treatment work?
Muscle Relaxing Toxin helps control this condition by temporarily blocking the chemical signals from the nerves that stimulate the sweat glands. When the sweat glands don’t receive chemical signals, the severe sweating stops.

What is involved in treatment?
The procedure is relatively straightforward. A small volume of Muscle Relaxing Toxin is injected into the affected area through a very fine needle. The needle is placed just under the skin, so you may experience some injection-related discomfort. You will receive multiple injections based on your individual needs.

Where can treatment by given?
Muscle Relaxing Toxin may be used on the hands, underarms, feet and face.

When will I see results?
You should notice a significant reduction in underarm sweating within 4 weeks of your first treatment.

How many treatment sessions are necessary?
There is a possibility that some sweat glands may be missed, and you may continue to experience some sweating from the untreated areas. In which case follow up sessions maybe required.
